CONCORD, N.H. — A former nurse at Concord Hospital is facing up to 10 years in prison for diverting fentanyl that was meant for a patient, authorities said. The Department of Justice said Lisa Richardson, 48, of Northfield, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with consumer products to a federal judge in Concord on Monday. Prosecutors said on Dec. 30, 2022, Richardson removed an unknown amount of fentanyl from an Intensive Care Unit patient’s intravenous line bag and replaced it with saline. Authorities said Richardson was not assigned to take care of the patient. In addition to a sentence of up to 10 years in prison, Richardson is facing three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000. Authorities said Richardson is scheduled to be sentenced on January 16, 2025.
