A Littleton father, convicted by a Grafton Superior Court grand jury in August for raping a child beginning when she was 4 years old and threatening to kill her if she told anyone, will serve at least 42 1/2 years in state prison after being sentenced on Friday. Matthew Brousseau, who engaged in the sexual assaults for more than six years, was given a total sentence of 50 years, but is eligible for a 7-1/2-year reduction upon successful completion of the sex offender program while in prison.
