A Springfield man is behind bars after a monthslong drug investigation

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – A Springfield man is behind bars after a monthslong drug investigation. Vermont State Police say Martin Gonyea, 37, had been distributing fentanyl and cocaine in the Springfield area since the beginning of the year and was doing so within 500 feet of a public school. Gonyea was also under two different conditions of release orders previously, related to other drug charges. He is being held on $10,000 bail and is expected in Vermont Superior Court in Windsor Tuesday
