LITTLETON — As the senior living community along St. Johnsbury Road prepares to open next year, municipal officials are working to ensure that Littleton and its taxpayers will incur no liability after the town assumes ownership of a sewer line. Town officials said during a board work session on Friday that having a utility maintenance agreement with the developer is paramount. Board members concurred, as they were presented with a first draft agreement that had been reviewed by the town’s consultant. Although Granite Seniors Services LLC has a permit approved by the state, the Select Board has yet to sign off on it.
