LYNDON — Work to protect the Miller’s Run Covered Bridge is wrapping up. Construction of crash barriers on either side of the bridge will be completed with a topping-off ceremony held on or around Friday, March 28, town officials said. The footings and foundations were installed in September by Techno Metal Post of Montpelier, and steel cross beams fashioned by Lyndon Institute students are scheduled to be installed in late March, with a date to be determined. The estimated $60,000 project is being paid for through voter-approved funds and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) money.
