EASTON — Tamarack Green Recreation will hold a public meeting Saturday to address concerns over its plans to relocate the Kinsman Trailhead and begin charging for parking. The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the current Kinsman Trailhead parking area. Tamarack announced the changes last week, sparking criticism from residents and trail users who say the move could limit access to the popular hiking area. Under the new plan, the trailhead, parking area and about one mile of trail will be relocated entirely onto Tamarack’s private property, near the Easton town line. Tamarack said the move is intended to reduce environmental strain, manage increased visitor traffic and support long-term trail maintenance.
