LITTLETON — During their meeting on Monday, the Select Board was briefed on housing-related grants and town staff in new roles and approved budget changes for Littleton Fire Rescue and a speed limit increase near Moore Dam. Briefing the board on InvestNH grant funding for affordable housing was Tony J. Ilacqua, chair of the Littleton Planning Board, which, through the summer, has been advancing an application for InvestNH’s municipal planning and zoning grant program. The program allows towns to focus on planning and zoning changes to facilitate the development of more affordable housing in their communities. Ilacqua said Littleton planners completed the most recent master plan in 2020, and the grant will give them the opportunity to expand upon it. The grant application needs to be submitted by the end of September. Planners are on the second draft.
