A trooper with the Vermont State Police is asking for the public’s help in finding people involved in a theft at the Jay Country Store on April 28. Video footage from the store shows four people enter the store. A blonde female in a black zip-up sweatshirt and red shirt took an item from the store without paying for it, Trooper Logan Miller reported. The four people drove away in a blue Hyundai with the rear window covered in plastic. The Vermont State Police asks anyone who can provide information leading to the people involved to contact Trooper Miller at the Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881.
