LITTLETON — During the Select Board’s regular meeting on Monday in the Heald Room of the community house, the board and several dozen residents welcomed the next permanent town manager Troy Brown. The announcement followed several minutes in a non-public session, where the contract was signed in the adjacent room. When the board reemerged, Select Board member Kerri Harrington moved to accept the contract. The vote was 3-0. For the duration of the meeting, Brown, who most recently served as the town manager for Meredith, sat beside Littleton Police Chief Paul Smith, who has served as Littleton’s interim town manager since early February. In New Hampshire, prior to Meredith, Brown worked for the towns of Londonderry, Pembroke, Hollis, and Litchfield.
