LYNDON — A barn fire on Poplar Lane prompted a significant emergency response from local fire departments on Sunday evening. At approximately 6:40 p.m., the Lyndonville Fire Department began receiving multiple calls regarding the blaze. Responding officers reported heavy smoke and flames visible from Route 5, leading to the dispatch being upgraded to a working fire. Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading further to the residence. There were no reported injuries to humans or animals. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
