LITTLETON — What began in 2024 as a neighbor-led initiative to fill a gap and help those who might be food insecure or experiencing loneliness is set to resume this summer. As it returns for its second year, Community Cookouts, held from 5 to 6 p.m. each Tuesday from June 3 through August 26 at the parish hall of All Saints Episcopal Church and behind the Littleton Community Center, is seeking volunteers and financial support. More than 1,100 meals were served last year, Mark St. Hilaire, a volunteer organizer, said Monday. Volunteers gather for food preparation and to cook, serve, set up tables, and clean up afterward. Individuals, friends, families, businesses, other churches, and civic groups are encouraged to join in.
