LITTLETON—The man who has served as the interim director of the Littleton Department of Public Works for the past half-year is now the permanent public works director. During Monday’s Select Board meeting, new town manager Troy Brown announced that Eric Oliver agreed to take the position. Oliver was hired more than three years ago as the building maintenance manager and wastewater technician, and had been acting as interim public works director since April 8, following the departure of previous DPW director Doug Damko, who filled the director role in Littleton for five years before taking another job in Michigan. Brown said Oliver served in the Air Force for seven years and has an extensive background in construction and facilities management.
